Heliae is looking for a National Sales Manager to lead our sales team in USA. The National Sales Manager will be responsible for the leadership, planning, mentoring and performance of the Heliae Agriculture sales team in achieving the company’s sales goals and objectives.


The ideal candidate will be a key member of the senior management team, reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer and have a depth of experience in sales, leadership and the agricultural industry. They will help further develop Heliae’s market presence, our client network, and our sales in the USA. Experience leading people / selling / advising to growers in the regenerative agriculture, no-till, strip-till space is a plus.



  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies
  • Lead nationwide sales team members to achieve sales targets
  • Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
  • Delivers annual sales results commensurate with the company’s growth goals
  • Negotiate and close agreements with large customers
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the sales department
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts
  • Analyzes sales data to identify strengths and weakness of particular promotions and team members
  • Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities
  • Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients’ needs
  • Liaise with Marketing department to encourage deliverables of brand expectations and go-to-market plans
  • Create presentations showing current sales figures business partners and Leadership team

Candidate Requirements:

  • 10+ years’ experience in ag sales
  • 5+ years’ recent experience as a National Sales Manager
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, agriculture, or a related field
  • Background in agriculture with related sales experience in the industry is required
  • Prior direct responsibility for impacting P&L top line sales and planned margins.
  • In-depth knowledge of managing a high performance sales team
  • Hands on experience with CRM software for a field-based sales team
  • Applicable experience of sales performance metrics
  • Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Customer oriented with strong negotiation skills
  • Analytical and data driven problem solver
  • Ability to travel up to 80%
